Spice- ‘Romantic Mood’- Video

Spice is ready to get in a ‘Romantic Mood’ in the old school dancehall themed video for her latest single off the ‘Captured’ mixtape.

‘Romantic Mood’ which is in itself an old school dancehall themed track with a riddim that samples the ‘Ting A Ling’ riddim, Spice obviously had to throw it back in the video for the track.

Spice boasts of  her credentials as the Queen of Dancehall, whilst at the same time boasting of her credentials in the bedroom, because as the hook for the track says she is in a “romantic mood” after all.

The old school throwbacks do not stop there as Spice interpolates both the Sister Nancy classic ‘Bam Bam’ and the Dawn Penn classic ‘No, No, No’ in the track, throwing it back to some of the legendary women in Jamaican music.

With everyone dressed in their finest old school dancehall garms, this  video definitely doesn’t disappoint as Spice really nails the theme of the track. Even bringing in the legendary Shelly Belly to assist in the video.

Spice continues her efforts to enable the free sexual experience of women in dancehall and wider Jamaican culture on this track and sounds incredible whilst doing it, doing one of the finest videos to come out of the dancehall scene this year.
