Wayne Marshall- ‘You Are My Father’

Wayne Marshall releases ‘You are My Father’ from the Appleton Estate’s ‘Heart of Jamaica’ compilation album, which is set to also feature Jesse Royal and Bugle, as well as featuring students from Edna Manley College in Kingston. The whole purpose of the project is to make sure reggae music continues to evolve in Jamaica.

Wayne Marshall is having a terrific 2018, releasing the viral sensation short film ‘Glory to God’, which was also accompanied by a hit song of the same name. Marshall is true to his 2018 form with ‘You Are My Father’ which addresses the special relationship between a father and his son. This is even more poignant considering that Wayne Marshall recently lost his own father, so this is a very heartfelt song for Marshall and you can certainly tell that when listening to it.

Check out Wayne Marshall’s ‘You Are My Father’ below and be sure to check out the Appleton Estates’ compilation album ‘Heart of Jamaica’ when it drops.
